Norwood Company Considers Headquarters Move to Covington, Backed by $6M Investment

Innovative Opening Solutions (IOS), a commercial door and access-control company based in Norwood, is considering moving its headquarters to Covington, Latonia. The move involves purchasing a 96,950-square-foot property, which was previously occupied by Keller Logistics. Covington officials stated that the company’s potential move would involve a $6 million investment in Latonia.

Covington’s Economic Development Division recommended a 15-year Industrial Revenue Bond to support the project, anticipating a 10-to-1 return on investment. If the move proceeds, IOS stated it would create 57 jobs with an average annual salary of about $80,300, generating an estimated $4.7 million in additional annual payroll by its third year.
