Norwich Upcycling Initiative to Feature Student Fashion at Next Year's Show

Jarrolds has launched a recycling initiative where customers donate unwanted garments to collection boxes across its stores. These donations are being partnered with Norwich University of the Arts, where fashion design students are tasked with transforming the materials into new styles. The resulting designs are slated for a fashion show next year at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich city centre. The initiative is supported by local businesses, including Jarrolds, and the fashion show is expected to be sponsored by several local companies.

The initiative aims to upcycle clothing and support a local social cause. Proceeds from the silent auction, which will be held during the fashion show, are intended to fund Ankose’s work with its social supermarket network, which provides discounted essentials to those experiencing financial hardship.
