The Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) has sealed the base camp of M/S Ratna Infrastructure Projects Pvt Ltd in North Kikruma, Phek district, over the failure of the National Highway-29 Kohima-Jessami road project (Package-II) under NHIDCL’s purview. The company was accused of continued negligence, non-compliance, and failure to execute the contracted work. The CSU stated that the company had failed to meet the original completion deadline of January 4, 2026, and even after an Extension of Time was granted until September 24, 2026, the firm had only completed 44.30% of the work against the 50% benchmark.
