What happened
The City of San Angelo announced it received a $20 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense through its Defense Community Infrastructure Program. The federal funding is designated for major improvements on Christoval Road, located along the south side of Goodfellow Air Force Base. This project will support a $28.6 million transportation and utilities upgrade spanning from Paint Rock Road to South Chadbourne Street.
