What happened
Delta Renewable Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of Orient Green Power Company Limited, commissioned a 17.60 MW AC solar plant in the Thiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu on September 22, 2026. This project, developed under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contract with Remon Solutions Private Limited, is located across Vandavasi Taluk and Chetpet Taluk. The new capacity brings Orient Green Power's total installed solar capacity to 24.6 MW AC.
