Authorities suspended night-time traffic on the Kanti Lokpath in Makwanpur district from 5 pm to 5 am on October 30 and 31. This restriction was put in place due to persistent rain triggered by Cyclone Arnab, which raised the risk of floods and landslides along the route. The District Administration Office issued a notice urging the public to avoid travel during hazardous hours.
