Afreximbank Hosts Trade Finance Seminar in Botswana

Afreximbank is hosting a combined Trade Finance Seminar and Afreximbank Compliance Forum in partnership with the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC). The events will take place at the Gaborone International Convention Centre in Botswana from November 16 to 18, 2026. The programme will focus on how trade finance can support the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and regional value chains. A Factoring Workshop is scheduled for November 19, 2026.

The gatherings are designed to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss solutions for strengthening regional value chains and closing Africa's trade finance gap. The seminars examine how stronger trade finance and compliance frameworks can support economic integration across the continent.
