What happened
Alaska Airlines is expanding its operational base at Paine Field in Everett. Starting this Fall, the airline will increase seats from the Seattle/Everett area by 50% and add new nonstop service to San Jose, California (SJC). The service to San Jose is scheduled to begin in Spring 2027 and will operate twice daily on Horizon Air.
