Alliance Partners with Government to Bolster New Zealand Honey and Bee Sector

The Alliance recently held its inaugural meeting to discuss the future of New Zealand’s honey and bee industry. The meeting brought together commercial beekeepers, honey producers, bee health experts, researchers, industry bodies, and government representatives. The group identified several priorities to add value to the sector, including improving data collection, strengthening coordination across pollination and honey collection, and better understanding varroa impacts.
