Apollo Silver Corp. issued a statement clarifying media reports regarding the Ejido Benito Juárez community assembly in Buenaventura Municipality, Chihuahua, Mexico. The company stated that reports suggesting the Ejido voted to reaffirm a 2012 agreement prohibiting mining activity were inaccurate. The assembly to consider the lifting of the moratorium on mineral exploration and development affecting the Cinco de Mayo project was adjourned due to a lack of quorum. The company noted that the community had not yet decided on the matter.

The adjournment means the company must reconvene the assembly in accordance with Mexican agrarian law, likely in October. Apollo Silver Corp. stated its commitment to respectful engagement and supporting the community through a transparent process.
