Arriva Announces Major Service Route and Timetable Changes for Darlington Bus Services

Arriva is implementing major service route and timetable changes to its Darlington town services, which will come into force on Sunday, September 27. The changes follow a review of services supported by Tees Valley Combined Authority and customer feedback. Under the new structure, Service 10 will be revised to focus on journeys between Darlington and Whinfield, while new Services 86 and 87 will provide dedicated links to Sadberge, Bishopton, and Stillington.

The updates are intended to provide new travel opportunities and improved connections across the Darlington and Stockton areas. Service 16 will be withdrawn and replaced by a revised Service 18, which will be extended to West Park Hospital and Faverdale. Service 17 will also be extended to include a direct link between Mowden and Darlington Rail Station.
