Pennsylvania marks 50th anniversary of Victims Compensation Assistance Program
What happened
Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis attended an event in Chambersburg to mark the 50th anniversary of Pennsylvania’s Victims Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP). The program has paid over $51 million across more than 25,000 claims since 2023. The Shapiro-Davis Administration has invested $19.5 million to ensure the program remains available to Pennsylvanians.
