Severe Wildfire Risk Declared in Aveiro and Bragança Districts

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) has assessed the situation, declaring a shared high risk of severe wildfires between Aveiro and Bragança. This risk affects more than 60 municipalities across the districts of Aveiro, Bragança, and others. The assessment is based on factors including air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and precipitation in the previous 24 hours. The risk is expected to remain very high in some regions until at least the end of the following week.
