What happened
The Chinese Ministry of Defence announced a "joint support and training center" in Ban Keun, Laos, on September 29. This facility, which is China's first publicly acknowledged overseas military facility focused on airpower, joins China's network of security infrastructure alongside Djibouti and Cambodia’s Ream Naval Base.
