Codexis Enters Agreement to Explore Advanced Oligonucleotide Manufacturing
What happened
Codexis announced an agreement with a pioneering siRNA drug innovator to explore stereo-defined fragment synthesis using its ECO Synthesis® Manufacturing Platform. Under the terms, Codexis will produce stereo-defined oligonucleotide fragments through a fully enzymatic process. These fragments will be supplied to the innovator to assemble the final duplex via ligation, while the collaboration compares the method to conventional solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis.
