Construction Resources Acquires Opustone, Expands Presence in Charleston and Atlanta

Construction Resources (CR) announced the acquisition of Opustone Stone & Tile Concepts, a leading distributor of luxury natural stone and tile with locations across South Florida. The company also detailed its expansion plans, including a new CR Design Center in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, slated to open in Spring 2026. This center will be 45,000 square feet and will integrate the Opustone brand through a 12,000 square foot store-in-store concept.

The expansion leverages CR's multi-product model, which includes product categories like appliances, cabinets, and tile. The new Charleston center will serve as a one-stop destination for designers, builders, remodelers, and homeowners. The project involves partnerships with local Charleston developer The Beach Company and Atlanta-based design firms.
