Regional Hospitality Market Development Signals Major Infrastructure Boom in UAE and Egypt

Market analysis released ahead of the Future Hospitality Summit detailed the scale of hotel construction across major tourism hubs. In Dubai, 88,000 rooms are currently under construction, with another 25,000 in the final planning stages. Egypt is noted as the second-largest market, with approximately 42,000 rooms in the pipeline across Cairo, the North Coast, and the Red Sea. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is driving the regional expansion with 110,000 rooms under development, representing about half of the regional hotel pipeline.

The development signals a massive, ongoing capital deployment into regional tourism infrastructure across the UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. The scale of projects ranges from luxury resorts to pilgrimage-focused hotels, underscoring the diversification of the hospitality products in the region.
