State Government to Develop Major Bus Hub at KSRTC Land in Capital City
What happened
The state government is planning to convert KSRTC's land at Enchakkal into a major long-distance and interstate bus hub for the capital city. This hub will bring KSRTC’s interstate services and private long-distance and interstate buses under one roof. The project is intended to ease pressure on Thampanoor and create a modern hub closer to NH 66. Transport Minister and local legislator CP John confirmed the government is prioritizing this move on a fast track.
