The Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) submitted a memorandum detailing issues facing MSMEs in the state. The body noted that sanctioned capital subsidies and incentives totaling ₹2,880.18 crore are pending payment to 3,716 industrial units in Karnataka. KASSIA stated that the delays in releasing these funds have been prolonged, sometimes extending up to four or five years.
