Enugu State Governor Appoints Executive Aides, Including Film Industry Specialist

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State approved the appointment of 101 new aides to assist with state functions in Enugu State. The appointments, announced in a public service announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, took immediate effect. The appointees were categorized into three tiers: seven Special Advisers, six Senior Special Assistants, and 88 Special Assistants. Among the appointees were Rachael Okonkwo, who was appointed Senior Special Assistant for Film and Creative Industry Development, and Eucharia Anunobi, who was appointed Special Assistant for Women Mobilisation in the Enugu-North Zone.

The appointments place specific individuals into roles focused on economic development, commerce, and creative industry within the state government structure. The roles include Special Advisers for Economic Development and various portfolios covering commerce and business development. These appointments are part of the administration's strategy to drive the state's development agenda.
