The issue stemmed from flaws in the information flow between distributors and sales companies, leading to invoicing based on estimated consumption.

The anomalous billing issues affect several companies operating in the free energy market, not just one supplier. The problem arises when periodic readings are incorrectly recorded in the companies’ IT systems.
