The Institute of Animal Sciences (IAS) and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) detailed the successful market performance of the Huaxi cattle breed. At a recent national breeding bull auction in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, two Huaxi breeding bulls fetched the top bid of 480,000 yuan each. This success marks the fourth consecutive year that Huaxi breeding bulls have led the sale, beating out other prized breeds.
