The European Union and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations launched a €5 million initiative aimed at strengthening Afghanistan’s agrifood sector. Separately, Mohammadreza Modoudi, CEO of the Dogharoon Free Zone, stated that Iran ranks first among all countries in terms of exports of goods to Afghanistan, with 60 percent of this volume passing through the Dogharoun border crossing.
