Kaufman Realty secures tenancy in Macy's flagship store, eyeing advertising deals

Kaufman Realty is now a tenant in Macy's flagship store located at Broadway and 34th Street. The company is installing new four-story digital billboards where the giant Macy's bag once stood. Kaufman Realty is courting national companies to advertise on the billboards, which are available to various national brands. The company is also discussing a potential lease for a tiny retail space at the base of 1313 Broadway.

The coveted corner attracts over 240,000 pedestrians per day. The small retail space has been available for the first time in over 30 years. The location previously housed Sunglass Hut, which recently closed its decades-long run there, as did a Burger King below the store.
