What happened
The Astana akimat, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport, and Changi Airport Group (CAI), a subsidiary of Changi Airport Group, have signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement regarding major infrastructure in Astana. The agreement formalizes cooperation on two fronts: the construction of a new airport in Astana, and the existing Astana International Airport. The parties are currently negotiating the partnership structure and project implementation terms.
