Kenya Signs 5-Year Framework with Hoover Institution on Data and AI Application
What happened
Kenya established a five-year framework with the Emerging Markets Working Group of Stanford University’s Hoover Institution to apply data and AI to policy and economic decision-making. The partnership was signed by Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Dr Musalia Mudavadi for Kenya. The initial project involves an El Niño Impact Monitoring and Response System that integrates climate, geospatial, water, agriculture, and infrastructure data to generate county-level intelligence.
