Man faces charges of conspiracy to commit federal contract fraud

Lee Reiber, 55, of Boise, Idaho, was arrested in Idaho on Sunday and is facing charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The alleged scheme involved seeking contracts from federal agencies while falsely claiming the company had no foreign ownership or control and that its software was developed in the United States. Oleg Sergeyevich Davydov, 52, of Moscow, Russia, was also implicated in the alleged conspiracy.

The alleged fraud centers on the misrepresentation of a company's structure, which reportedly involved five Russian nationals owning and controlling the company and its software. The scheme targeted the federal procurement process through alleged misstatements made between March 2022 and the present.
