MassDEP sets PFAS limits; Attleboro installs advanced water treatment
What happened
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection set Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) for PFAS6 and mandated reporting in Attleboro. IXOM Watercare was selected to provide MIEX® Magnetic Ion Exchange Systems to the City of Attleboro Water Department. This technology will remove dissolved organic carbon (DOC) from the treatment process before PFAS treatment.
