North Shore Development Begins Construction on Maple Plain Apartment Project
What happened
Construction has begun on a new development in Maple Plain, which is a 95-unit apartment building named Maple & Main. The project is located on the former city hall site at the corner of Maple Avenue and Main Street. The development includes pedestrian-friendly streetscape improvements, a fourth-floor Sky Lounge, and two levels of structured indoor parking. Matt Anderson of North Shore Development approached the city about the project in October of 2025.

Why it matters
