Minister Inspects Major Energy and Water Infrastructure Projects in Nyagatare, Rwanda
What happened
Minister of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Armand Zingiro visited infrastructure projects in Nyagatare, in the North East of Rwanda. The inspection focused on the Muvumba Multipurpose Dam, which is 69% complete. This project includes a water treatment plant with a planned capacity of 50,000 cubic metres of treated water per day. The visit also covered the Nyagatare Substation, which is 85% complete and rated at 500 MW.
