What happened
MOL Group has completed the reconstruction of the AV3 crude oil distillation unit at its Danube Refinery in Százhalombatta. The project, which addressed damage from a fire last autumn, was completed on schedule with a budget of 18 billion forints. The extensive restoration involved rebuilding the structure, installing 27 high-capacity pumps, replacing eight kilometres of piping, and laying 100 kilometres of electrical cables. Production is slated to resume gradually in October following system flushing, pressure testing, and safety checks.
