Motorola Solutions Appoints COO, Outlines Growth Strategy for Mission-Critical Tech

Jack Molloy has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Motorola Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for outlining the company's growth outlook and strategy. The company focuses on its mission-critical networks, command center software, and video security businesses, while scaling acquisitions of Silvus Technologies and D-Fend Solutions.

Molloy stated that the company has seen public-safety technology budgets grow faster than overall public-safety and state budgets. He noted that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act provides a multiyear tailwind for the company’s federal business. Motorola Solutions reported record second-quarter orders and double-digit order growth in the first half of the year, guiding for double-digit product growth in the second half.
