National Park Service Establishes Moccasin Bend District and Riverpark
What happened
The National Park Service established the Moccasin Bend District and a linear park running along the Tennessee River from the Chickamauga Dam to the Marion County line. This park is part of the Tennessee Riverpark Master Plan, a 20-year, $20 million blueprint for Downtown Chattanooga Revitalization and Riverfront Development.
