International Cooperative Alliance and Fairtrade Network sign trade partnership
What happened
The International Cooperative Alliance–Asia and Pacific and the Fairtrade Network of Asia and Pacific Producers signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 7, 2026. This partnership aims to strengthen cooperative development, sustainable trade, and market access throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The agreement will be effective until September 30, 2028.
