Meat Processing Plant Fire in Postville Leads to Partial Worker Rehiring

A fire at the Agri Star Meat and Poultry processing plant, located in Postville, Iowa, destroyed approximately 75 percent of the facility in July. Investigators determined the fire was accidental, originating in the facility’s laundry room, and no injuries were reported.
