Proposed Hospitality Reforms Target Night-Time Economy in Victoria

Ben Carroll announced a suite of hospitality reforms intended to revitalize the night-time economy. These proposals are conditional on Labor winning a historic fourth term at the November state election. Under the proposed scenario, pubs would be automatically allowed to trade until 3 am, without needing to apply for the right to operate beyond 1 am. Furthermore, the reforms suggest allowing dogs inside venues at the owner's discretion, while also fast-tracking and extending license applications for proven operators.
