Pyramid Technoplast Gains Capacity to Handle Industrial Waste with GPCB Approval

Pyramid Technoplast received an amended Consolidated Consent and Authorisation (CCA) from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) to expand its waste recycling operations. The authorisation permits the company to receive, collect, store, transport, and recycle industrial packaging waste generated by other companies, including empty barrels, containers, and liners contaminated with hazardous chemicals or wastes. The company can handle up to 960 MT of this waste annually and manufacture up to 9,000 cleaned barrels or containers per month for industrial use.

The approval allows the company to offer a more integrated solution for packaging waste management by accepting third-party clients. This expansion creates a new avenue for growth in the company's recycling and reprocessed products business. The company noted that its existing capacity for plastic re-processed granules is 1,000 MT per month.
