Why it matters
The projections highlight significant economic opportunities in the space sector, while also stressing the need for stronger international cooperation to manage increasing pressure on spectrum and orbital resources. The rapid growth of non-terrestrial networks is driving this expansion.
Bilateral talks are ongoing between representatives of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, and the International Telecommunication Union regarding capacity building, IT cooperation, and digital economy growth.
