Slovakia Explores Cooperation with Sarawak on Environmental and Tech Issues

Slovakia is exploring cooperation with Sarawak in several key areas, including water and flood management, waste management, recycling, environmental technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Slovak Ambassador to Malaysia Peter Spišiak stated that Slovak companies possess the expertise and technologies that could potentially support Sarawak in these fields. The courtesy call was made on Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who also identified road management as a potential area for partnership.

As a follow-up, the Slovak Embassy plans to organize an online presentation. This initiative will involve Slovak companies and the Sarawak business community, carried out in cooperation with the Sarawak Business Federation and relevant ministries of the Sarawak Government.
