What happened
Solid Power was spun out of research at the University of Colorado. Separately, Bifrost Electronics, a quantum technology manufacturer, was spun out of research at the Colorado School of Mines. Bifrost Electronics named Doug Campbell as its CEO and plans to release its Heimdall Amplifier, a device that amplifies weak signals from qubits, in the second half of this year.
