Strabag begins biodiesel pilot project in Oman to support net-zero goals
What happened
Strabag has started a biodiesel pilot project in Oman to reduce the carbon footprint of construction activities. The initiative will assess the technical feasibility of using B7 biodiesel in heavy construction machinery under actual site conditions. The pilot is planned to run for approximately three months, consuming an estimated 27,400 litres of B7 fuel, which is a blend containing up to 7 per cent biodiesel.
