The Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (Tiseza) was named Africa’s Best Investment Promotion Agency for 2026. This award was presented at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Global Foundation Awards in Dubai, marking the third consecutive year the authority received this international recognition. Tiseza was honored for its work in promoting and facilitating investment across the African continent. During the five years leading up to the award, Tiseza reported that registered investment projects in Tanzania tripled, rising from 252 in 2021 to 915 in 2025. Concurrently, approved investment capital increased from $3.7 billion in 2021 to $10.95 billion in 2025.
