Kyrgyzstan Confirms Continuation of Awaza Programme for LLDCs
What happened
At the 25th Annual Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Landlocked Developing Countries, Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev confirmed the country will continue implementing the Awaza Programme of Action for LLDCs 2024–2034. Kulubaev stated that the Programme serves as a basis for the economic transformation and resilience of landlocked developing countries. He also noted progress in its implementation, including the development of a Roadmap and Monitoring Framework.
