Nebraska City Extends Repayment Schedule for Salmon Facility Investment

Nebraska City Council approved an extension to the repayment schedule for a salmon growing operation proposed by Goodlife Ag, LLC. The company plans to construct a 300,000 square-foot facility at the city's north industrial site. The council granted a six-month postponement to the repayment schedule of the investment package, which totaled $1 million.

The extension concerns the city's investment in the project, which was intended to be paid back through annual payments. The original first payment was due September 1st of this year, but the company requested the delay. The new first reimbursement of $70,000 is now scheduled for March 1, 2027.
