Consumer Groups Urge Budget 2027 to Address Rising Household Costs

The Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations warned that Budget 2027 must address rising everyday costs affecting Malaysian households. The organization stated that middle-income households are facing a 'middle-income squeeze' due to increasing expenses in housing, transport, education, and healthcare.

The warning highlights significant financial pressure on middle-income families, particularly those supporting multiple generations or requiring specialized care.
