The government announced funding for infrastructure improvements on Eyre Creek in Western Queensland. This funding is jointly provided by the Albanese and Crisafulli Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). The project involves the upgrade of Cuttaburra Crossing on the Eyre Developmental Road, which is located around 60km south of Bedourie. Stage one of the upgrade has delivered approximately three kilometers of newly sealed road across the floodplain.
