NHAI pushes to transfer maintenance of 20 structures to GMDA
What happened
The National Highways Authority of India is renewing its effort to transfer the operation and maintenance of 20 structures along the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway to GMDA. These structures include six underpasses, ten foot overbridges, two pedestrian subways, and two non-motorised transport passages. The transfer requires NHAI to complete one-time improvement and rectification works before the handover, following directions from the secretary of the ministry of road transport and highways.
