Separately, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty filed a lawsuit against the state’s Higher Educational Aids Board, challenging the $30,000 Minority Teacher Loan program on the grounds that it excludes qualified students based solely on race. Citizens Defending Liberty is also a co-plaintiff in a separate case against the University of Wisconsin-Madison regarding race-based scholarships.
