Untreated Water from STEP Systems Enters Cumberland River

The Water Authority of Wilson County is receiving untreated water from STEP wastewater treatment systems on the Cumberland River. The untreated water entering the Cumberland River, which stems from ponding at drip fields and the lack of a permanent sewage system at LaGuardo Elementary School, poses regulatory risks.
