What happened
The Vietnamese Minister of Finance, Ngo Van Tuan, received three Country Programme Documents from the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and the United Nations Population Fund on September 22, 2026, in New York. These three programmes have a combined expected resource envelope of approximately $221.2 million, covering five years of support. The documents were endorsed by the Vietnamese prime minister in May 2026.
